Purple Leaf Tea: Make room Green, Black and Oolong, because Purple Tea is here! This is an exciting new category of tea. The reason it is called Purple Leaf Tea is because purple leaves naturally grow this colour on the tea bush! This is not a gmo plant, it is completely natural and part of the tea family (Camellia Sinensis Assamica). The reason the leaves are purple is because they contain the super antioxidants: Anthocyanins. These are the same antioxidants that make other plants purple: like our favourite grapes, blueberries, and acai berries. Purple Leaf Tea is also a colour changing tea… squeeze a couple drops of lemon into your tea cup and watch the purple colour intensify. Learn more about purple tea here.

my sister just sent me some Justea Jasmine Tea as my Christmas gift *she works in a healthfood store where they supply it) and OMG I AM IN HEAVEN!! the taste is so fragrant and leaves a nice aftertaste on my tongue. I USED it THREE times in a mug with boiling water and it was still like the first cup!! MAGNIFICENT aroma, taste and pretty colour! LOVE LOVE IT!! thanks to the farmers to taking great care in making this tea excellent!

Purple Leaf was my introduction to JusTea. I have to admit to being slightly addicted to this one. In addition to the antioxidant health benefits, it’s simply delicious, hot or iced. And it’s PURPLE!

This is a very fine tea, the added lemon to give it stronger colour also really livens the the taste up. Great cause! Great product! I’m quite impressed and will be supporting this purple, the green leaves, and Nandi Black leaves from JusTea with 100% of my future tea consumption. Great Job guys, ~~God Bless

It’s quite nice! It’s like a tropical green or white tea. The purple teas are very hard to describe. I saw a lot of reviews comparing them to green tea but I drink green tea every day and it doesn’t taste like it at all. It’s unique. More on the fruity side but doesn’t taste like a fruit. If you drink fruity teas or more tropical/sweeter side teas and not so much bitter or earthy teas any of the purple teas will definitely be for you. I like these once in a while when I want something more refreshing. I’m a big tea person so I drink a cup 2-3 times a day at minimum and the flavor always depending on my mood.

Very soothing tea with a unique and robust flavor. Not quite as bold as black tea, or quite as crisp as green. A happy medium.

I have started using this tea to make kombucha, and the results are absolutely lovely: a purplish pink brew with a subtle but wonderful fruity flavour… Very different from a black or even a green tea kombucha. I love it!!!

This is my go-to afternoon tea. It’s perfect when you want a cuppa but want to avoid too much caffeine. Floral and flavourful, I have it at least twice a week.
