Meet Your Mt. Kenya Black Farmer
At JusTea, we're dedicated to fairly traded and farmer-direct tea benefiting Kenyan farming families with fair wage and steady employment opportunities.
JusTea Stands for Justly Made Tea
Hand-Picked, Whole Leaf Tea
Great tea starts with great leaves. By intentionally hand-picking whole tea leaves, we ensure a top-quality, totally delicious cup of Mt. Kenya Black.
The use of unsafe chemical pesticides damages soil, the plant, and is consumed by the tea drinker. We avoid all that by encouraging regenerative agriculture, organic fertilizers, and bio-diversity in the tea gardens.
Fair-Trade & Farmer-Direct
Our Mt. Kenya Black comes direct from the source. This ensures that profits stay in the tea farming communities, and that you get the freshest, purest, most delicious tea possible.
Enjoy a cup of Mt. Kenya Black, just how you like it.
Loose Leaf or Pyramid Bag Tea
It is a staple in my tea cupboard!
Love the taste! Love the depth! Love the rounded flavour with a refreshing upward feel.
Multuple orders. Started small, now buying in bulk. Latest order had a slight glitch, addressed immediately. Black teas my favorite, but the purple and hibiscus are great too. The hibiscus makes a great iced tea!
I have a ton of energy for a 62 year old woman. Could it be the delicious and satisfying Mt Kenya tea that I enjoy a big pot of every morning? …..possibly! Haha. Even when I travel, it comes with me. The best! The orders are always promptly filled, and I love the idea that it is ethically sourced. Thank you team JUSTEA.
I really wanted to love this tea. I like a lot of breakfast blend that use Kenyan tea, but even in a Yixing teapot, this tea brewed a bit too bracing for me. The astringency, clarity, and body of the liquor was excellent for this tea. It was simply not my palate's favorite. I will try other Justea products because I love the concept and want to support African tea.
