Nandi Gold: This rare black tea offers an exquisite sip of Kenyan terroir. Single-estate grown in Nandi Hills, this special tea cultivar yields sweet golden-leaf buds (buds are the unopened top tea leaves on the bush, essentially the cream of the crop!). Unlike our Mt Kenya Black Tea, this tea is best enjoyed without milk and sugar.

Frank Serafine –
There’s a smoothness to this tea that other black teas of Chinese or British origin lack. Not a lot of bitterness. Plus, it doesn’t leave a bad aftertaste like MANY black teas do. Delicious and well-rounded.

This is my new favourite in the line up. In this rainy damp weather I consume a lot of tea so I love the new larger sized pouches!

This tea has a smooth malty flavor. Really nice and a 3 minute brew make it perfect every time.

Very, very nice black tea. I agree that it’s best on its own, no cream or sugar, as suggested by the description. There are so many flavors in this tea that milk and sugar would cover over! If, like me, you’re used to tea or coffee on the “chocolate cake” end of the spectrum, I highly recommend giving this tea a chance regardless. It’s a different kind of beverage that I find myself drinking more slowly, and more thoughtfully, with attention to its flavors. I think I’m tasting my breakfast more thoughtfully too.

I am so delighted to have turned a my habitual warm beverage into support for a good cause. This is a very smooth tea, excellent tasting. You can without doubt taste a a huge difference between this product and tea sourced from “big companies”.
Support this cause and taste the difference quality makes!

Woot! Thanks for the wonderful review Nicholas!

Quite literally one of the best black teas I’ve tasted in years. I typically enjoy my black tea with maple syrup and cream, but this is delicious as is with nothing added. I also tried it with only cream and quite enjoyed it.
